....and we are off!! After a breezy 5:15am meeting time, we were in good shape arriving at the airport with 18 excited mission folks, 24 loaded totes, 3 vehicles. All was super-----until we discovered that ONE of us had left his passport in Ft City. WHATTTTT? But thanks to technology ,cell phones and a speeding car-this was only a minor setback.Travel was without further incident.
There ia a 2 hour time differnce from Knoxville-they do not observe daylights savings time. We arrived in Belize City and breezed through documentation only having to 'donate" a first aid kit to the country of Belize. Never fear there is a back up!
We had lunch at a familair spot, stopped to souvenir shop (really ? ), and then on to Unitedville to unload, claim our bunk and prepare for our work. We had a delicious dinner , business talk and communion service. We are THIRSTY for the word, and EAGER to spread the news to all. Pray for us,
